For the library craft activities the focus was on the Year of History, Heritage and Culture where the children were each given a pre-Kilt crafts for HeriKilt crafts for Heritage, History and Archaeology Collageprepared craft pack and instructions from library staff on how to design their own kilts.

The end result was amazing, the children made fantastic designs.

The second week with the focus still on YHHA the children made a second colourful display concentrating on our agriculture, wildlife and heritage.  Our Gaelic tutor provided Gaelic translations of some of the labels on the display.  The other library activities included story time, films and code club with between 26 – 30 children attending the activities each day.
