Inverurie’s annual World of Words festival has almost arrived with an amazing line-up of events in September, including a couple of meet the author sessions organised by Aberdeenshire Libraries.
One of the highlights will be John Gordon Sinclair, appearing in the Acorn Centre on Saturday 12th. Scottish stage and screen actor (remember ‘Gregory’s Girl’ ) and now author of two thrillers, he’ll definitely have a lot of interesting experiences to describe to us.
Local talent comes in the form of Matt Lewis who has written ‘Last Man Off’ about his amazing survival in the Antarctic and he’ll be in
Inverurie Library on Saturday 5th. to tell us all about it in person.
Starting off the festival, a Philosophy Cafe event presents ‘Beyond Words, Literature and Controversy’ so do come along for a lively discussion – or just to listen if you prefer!
Much much more is on offer during the festival week.
