Teenage Reading Month

Teenage Reading Month logoTeenage Reading Month is well underway. But there is still time for teenagers to get reading and enter the competition to win a Kindle Fire or a £20 book token. All you have to do is write a short review of the book you have read and submit on the online book review form .

This year we are hoping to publish a Teen Reads Guide for Aberdeenshire – if you have read a great book recently and would like to nominate it to be included, tell us what it is using the second form

Get some inspiration for something new to read using the following for some great suggestions. Happy Reading

Library Catalogue -some popular titles from the front page

Book trust – themed lists such as Epic Fantasy, Eating Issues, 100 best books 12-14

Teen Reads – more themed lists including ‘Books that keep it real’ and ‘Books to furiously chain read’

Guardian Teen Books – suggestions for good books and info on the authors

Reading Matters – lists of books themes such as animals, horror and real life
