Bookbug loves libraries!

Bookbug has been joining story, song and rhyme sessions in libraries across Aberdeenshire in recent weeks. From Bracoden to Banchory, Alford to Boddam and a few in between, Bookbug has been wearing his heart on his sleeve and flying the flag for reading.

Bookbug’s Library Challenge is running in all Aberdeenshire libraries especially for children aged birth to 4, and Bookbug is keen to see children enjoying the pictures and stories.

There are lots of picture books in each library and did you know you can also download e-books for children? Why not share a story on your phone, tablet or iPad with your children? Great when on the bus, waiting to see the doctor, dentist, or in the supermarket queue!

Bookbug's Climbing wall challengeLook out for Bookbug at New Pitsligo, Rosehearty, Laurencekirk, Huntly, Westhill and Fraserburgh libraries in the next couple of weeks.

He knows a lot about books, songs and rhymes but, as you can see, he could use a few tips from Incey Wincey Spider on climbing!
